School Accountability Committee (SAC)

The purpose of the SAC is to gather and analyze data to assess the school’s progress toward its mission and vision and to provide results of that analysis to the NRCCS governing School Board, the administration and the rest of the NRCCS community.  See also, C.R.S. §22‐11‐401, et seq.

The Committee is open to all and comprised of parents, community members, teachers, staff, and a school administrator. The Committee meets periodically throughout the year. All meetings are open to the public.  Public comments are taken at the beginning of the meeting.  Comments must pertain to topics related to school accountability:  school budget/spending, academic performance, parent/teacher/staff/student satisfaction. 

The Committee reviews the school budget and makes recommendations to the Board for spending priorities. The Committee reviews academic data throughout the year and makes recommendations to the Board for improving academic achievement.  The Committee administers Parent Satisfaction Surveys and Teacher/Staff Satisfaction Surveys twice in the  the school calendar year and presents the results to the Board to adhere to the school's mission and vision.
